Please help w/restaurants and music in Santa Fe

Jump to last reply

I am posting this here after accidentally putting it in the lounge...

I am going to Santa Fe w/ a friend for a 4 day weekend in early Feb Staying at Hotel Chimayo; need relaxation and time to gab and eat and drink wine. I've been to Santa Fe many times, friend has been once. She is a foodie (but not a snobby one) and a wine connoisseur, has a wine cellar in home. I like good food and wine and service and abhor bad service, it can ruin an otherwise good to great experience for me.

I am familiar w/some restaurants in Santa Fe and have some I really like, but want to ty new places for lunches and dinners. We will eat at Casa Sena, I love their food. attitude, and wine list. We prefer casual so I think Geronimo is out.

Where else to eat? Many posts (like DebitNM's 2009 on her SF trip food) are a bit dated. I am looking at Andiamo from LeeAnn's report.. We like to share apps/small plates (haven't been to LaBoca but have seen some bad service posts here). We aren't breakfast people and eat an early lunch and later dinner.

We';; probably go to Vanesie for piano bar music one night. Where else for live music? Used to go to El Farol but had bad service there a few yrs ago and would really have to persuade myself to give it another try- maybe just for music this time..

I value your input! Thank you.
