Planning trip to NYC, Boston and Providence, should I buy my Amtrack tickets in advance or day of travel?

Jump to last reply

Hello East Coast Experts, people have been sooo helpful on this forum so far for weather info and hotel info. I've done an Amtrack search on this forum and could'nt get the info I needed. Should I prebook our train tickets online or via phone or should I wait until day of travel? Boston: We are staying at a hotel near Faneuil Hall, what is the best way to get from train station to this local? Taxi? And finally I appreciate the opinions of people who know, which is the BEST off Broadway show, (seen Blue Man Group, loved it!)
Sorry it's alot but I really appreciate any who take time to respond.
