Planning another San Diego beach vacation in September!
I am really excited about and eagerly waiting for the day when I will be visiting the beaches, enjoying surfing, and having sessions of sunbathes. My budget is low this time so I am looking for some affordable hotels near the beaches and other places worth seeing. With a number of events like Annual Julian Fall Apple Harvest, 23rd Annual Sycuan Pow-Wow, San Diego Bayfair, and San Diego Restaurant Week falling in September, I am anticipating a joy ride during my vacation in San Diego.

What is your "affordable" range, and then I can give you some info. Sounds like you already have a pretty good handle on beautiful SD - and hope you have another great trip here.

Hi Tomsd. My apologies for replying so late. Had not been keeping well for sometime. My San Diego vacation was amazing. It is a beautiful city. Savored some good food during San Diego Restaurant Week. Old Town is charming. I had stayed at California Suites Hotel. It was not some fancy type hotel but still fine. It suited my budget. Thanks for replying.
Did you visit Seaport Village? It can be so beautiful on a sunny day. There are tons of casual restaurants to restaurants that overlook the bay. There are also tons of great attractions like the USS Midway (which you can tour) and the Star of India.
