Are there any places with natural beauty to visit in Virginia, Md during this season? Like a nice hiking trail in the mountains and some scenic drive and some waters. I don't mind driving there.
Thanks.

All along the Blue Ridge Parkway in NC. There are directories of the trails on the internet.
I'm sorry but I really do not like it when somebody asks a question and then never follows up.
Yeah, but it happens all the time. Oh well.
Go Blue Devils.
Hello All, Thanks so much for all the suggestions. I really appreciate it. Due to last minute change of schedules we couldn't go as planned. Instead, we went to Poconos, about 2 hr drive from North NJ and found everything closed, even the information center for Poconos State Park! Ended up just driving around in some rain and some snow.
We hope to go to the suggested places once the season changes.
Happy Holidays!
