Pizza Recs in the Bronx Area

We are driving south on I-87 going thru the Bronx. Would love to stop for pizza. Any recs near this route? We will be continuing to the GW Bridge to NJ. Thanks

Um, where will you start driving?

Are you going to end up crossing the Hudson twice if you go over the GWB?

If so, why?

Let me know next time and we can meet! Coal's is good, and also 089, mentioned above.

And you have to pick up a piece of cheese or pumpkin (or both) burek at Tony and Tina's on Arthur Avenue near Fordham Rd. They heat up well the day after, too.

Ekscrunchy- I didn't realize you lived in NYC. My daughter lives there so I get up to the city often. I would love to meet up one of these days. I'm looking forward to your trip report when you go to MC and Oaxaca this fall.

I hope to make a day trip to The Cloisters this Fall (driving from upstate NY).
Would it makes sense to combine a visit to The Cloisters with Arthur Ave?
