Phone rental in Disneyworld?

We are going to spend a week in Disneyworld. My husband is going to be at a conference most of the week so we will both need phones to keep in touch. We are from Australia, however so we will need to get US type phones as our Aussie phones wont work. Is there a place in Disneyworld to hire phones, or is it possible to buy cheap disposable pre-paid phones in the US?

If your Disney hotel will allow you to receive a package before you arrive and check-in, there are several ways to order a cheap, disposable phone. You might want to phone your Disney hotel before you leave for the U.S. and ask to speak to the "Guest Services Manager". I believe this person will be empowered to grant your request. If he or she is not available at that time, Explain that you are calling from Australia and ask when that person might be on duty.

T-Mobile <http://tinyurl.com/297h5v> sells inexpensive phones wi9th a SIM card and additional airtime. Their prepaid program is called T-Mobile to Go.

If you already have a GSM phone (coming from Oz, your phones should be GSM) and it is unlocked, simply buy the SIM card from T-Mobile and as much additional airtime as you think you will need.

Target, a discount department store chain also sells mobile phones <http://tinyurl.com/27e8au> that can be shipped to a domestic address.

Just a quick follow-up, in case you have not already departed. T-Mobile is now selling their SIM cards for $4.99 via their web site. Of course you still must have an unlocked GSM phone.
There are many options for adding air time, including the same web site.

Have a good time in Central Florida!
