Phone Number for Operator at Priceline.com

I'm pretty sure that this phone number may have been posted before but at the time I glanced at it, I didn't need it. Now I do! After doing a search, I can't find it....please give me the telephone number to reach priceline.com operators. The only number I have is something like 1-800 or 1-(877)priceline. This is a toll free number but after exploring ALL the prompts provided, there is not a prompt to talk to someone in cutomer service department regarding a dispute. Could someone provide this number? I NEED to talk to a real life customer service representative, not just listen to automated responses. Thanks so much, Margie Cooper

This is why I no longer use Priceline. I made a bid, but when I got my acceptance notice, it was for a completely different airport. Took me hours of searching to finally get a human. I believe it was at the 800 number, but the prompt was totally buried. Good luck.

I agree...this is one big disadvantage of priceline.com that I can't imagine they haven't improved upon! I went through the same thing 3 years ago and NEVER did find a live operator (never used them again either). My incidence was 3 years ago, it's hard to imagine that 3 years later they still haven't figured this short coming yet!! Lizzy

Shortcoming? More like that's the whole point of using priceline. Hiring live operators are too expensive and priceline customers would end up paying for it. Slowly over time, the benefits of using priceline would be less and less, to the point it being no longer financially feasible. Why should this fantastic site go down just because some of you fools enter in the wrong dates of travel yet pretend it's a system malfunction?

E-mail them. They will return your call or (even better) work with you via e-mail, where you'll have a paper trail in case of a dispute.
