Phantom of the Opera in Las Vegas in December
We are hoping to get tickets in the middle of December. I notice the tickets are $75 to $150. Has anyone seen it? Is it worth the money? Is there anyway to get discount tickets?
I'd appreciate any comments.
Thanks.

Lots of people have seen it, including myself. There is a very recent thread about it if you do a search.
Discount tickets are not available and whether it is worth the money is something only you can answer. I will say, having just seen Phantom last week, that I do not think there are any really bad seats in the theater. We sat in $150, Row E seats and it was marvelous, however I do not think the $75 seats were "bad" - just farther away from the stage.
I've seen Phantom many times in other cities/theaters, this was a terrific production.
Just for the record, it is normally impossible to get discounted tickets for top shows.

I saw it at the Venetian last summer, and have seen it before in Los Angeles and London. It thought this was the best production yet. I actually enjoyed the fact that the show was a bit shorter as I get antsy when I sit too long.
We sat in the rear orchestra. If I see it again, I'll pop for the more pricey seats. Because the balcony was over our heads, it was difficult to see the chandelier. Other than that, the seats were fine, just a bit far back.

I have seen the LV Phantom show twice in the past 4 months; absolutely loved it! And yes, I've seen it 3 times before, in the original length, in other cities. I really prefer the LV show. The staging is fabulous! Sat once in the golden circle, once in row HH )Orchestra), BEHIND the chandelier, which I really preferred. And on that occasion, I purchased a well-discounted ticket thru Ticketmaster. Paid $73.30 instead of $115. I thought that was a good bargain, and I was delighted with my seat, which was in the center of the row. Enjoy! You won't be sorry. It's a wonderful show!

We saw Phantom in Las Vegas in March. We enjoyed it VERY much. We had seen it before (in Toronto) and thought this was a great production.
We were sitting in the front row balcony and I thought it was a perfect seat.

I have seen the "Phantom" at the Venetian. The production and theater are excellent. The performers are all excellent singers. The show is very entertaining. You can try the half price ticket booth at the Fashion Show Mall. You never know what shows they will have tickets for. You just have to check and see what is available.

we saw it last December for my birthday. We got an "invite" to the Venitain and it included two for one tickets to a comedy guy who happened to be dark - so they honored it for Phantom. We had seen it twice outside of Vegas and only went because it was 2 for one and we were VERY glad we did.
I enjoyed it more - the special effects are great - I hope you enjoy it.

I think you need to decide for yourself if you will like this SPECIFIC show. There are many options in Vegas for various productions you can see. Personally, it was my least favorite out of all the musicals I've seen, and I saw this one in NYC. But like I said, it depends on your personal preferences.
