Peachy Quechee, Vermont
Might be driving through this weekend---has anyone been to the Quechee/Woodstock area?
Any must dos? A friend mentioned something about a glass blowing factory.
Was even thinking of hitting one of the two rivers--- tubing? kayaking?

Katie - definitly see Simon Pearce glassworks. Beautiful stuff (pricey too)but worth the trip. They also have a wonderful restaurant on the premises. On the turn you take to get to Pearce there is a big antique mall, plus back up Route 4 just after you get off the highway you will pass a diner and another country store/antique place. Follow Route 4 toward Woodstock and pick your spot to jump in! River runs right along the route. Woodstock will keep you entertained just walking around. Lots of shops, Bentley's Restaurant worth a see..has been there for many years. Woodstock Inn is worth a stop too, just to see the place. Have a drink or soda in the lounge. Enjoy - I love the area!
