I'll be attending a conference in March in Colorado Springs at the Antlers Hilton. Parking is listed as $15 per day (valet) or $11 per day (self parking). Is there anything less expensive or free nearby? Thanks!

Just south of the hotel, there is open street parking with no meters. It is on the south side of the hotel on a street called Sawatch. It is directly behind the Pikes Peak center.
If it is during the week just get there early..but you should have no problem since you will be parked from the night before. It fills up with people that work downtown after 8 A.M..
Coloradoredusa (wow, that's a long one!): Thanks for the info!
Do you know if parking is allowed overnight? Could we park there and leave the car for a few days?
When we were in the Springs in 2011, we parked over night on Sahwatch and West Colorado Avenue. We also stayed at the Antlers. Trip report is here: http://www.fodors.com/community/united-states/pikes-peak-or-colorado-springs-area-and-ppihc.cfm?6
BTW, generally best to start a new thread and not post to an old one like this one.
