Parking at the Greek Theatre

We are going to a concert at the Greek next month on a stopover in LA on vacation. I was wondering how long it takes to get out of the "stacked" parking area at the venue. The "equal access" parking only costs $5 more, but the website suggests arriving two hours early to park there, and I don't really like that idea.

Any experienced advice?

There are some park and dine options. Check this out:

What concert will you see?

Wow, lregeo, I looked at the FAQ's but didn't see that. Thanks so much. I checked out the Dresden, which was one of the restaurant options. It was $54 per person...I guess not too bad with dinner and shuttle to the venue.

Hmmm.......

Jayne, the only one I've used is Louise's Trattoria. It's okay; about the same price: $55. I think it's worth it to avoid stack parking. You will too as you race down the hill while everyone else waits!

Care to share what show you're seeing?

Thanks, I am so happy we get to experience the Greek and the Monkees, too. I think there's some serious rock n' roll history between those guys -- especially Mickey Dolenz. Mike Nesmith won't be with them, however -- just Peter, Mickey and Davy.

Hey lregeo- thanks for the Park and Ride suggestion. It worked out great for us. We had dinner at The Dresden and it was great to be dropped off at the concert and to hop a van afterward without all that parking hassle, especially since we were not familiar with the area.

The Greek was so great! We also enjoyed The Dresden bar after the concert. Thanks again for taking time to comment.
