Parking at Penn Station (Baltimore)

Hi
How much does it cost for the day to park at Penn Station? I'm catching the Boltbus there to go up to NYC. Is Penn station in a good area to park your car?

It should be somewhere around $10. The parking garage at the train station is perfect for the boltbus, and you should have no problem. Personally, I wouldn't try parking on the street around there if you'll be returning late at night. There is also a garage on the west side of Charles St just north of Lanvale St across from the Charles Theater.

The Boltbus reccomends the parking lot on Lanvale Street. I called up the train station and they wanted $20 for the day. The one on Lanvale Street sounds like its around $10, but I don't know for sure.

Yes, I think it's fine - I didn't think of it before. It's an open lot with an entrance on Lanvale. You only have to walk 1/2 block to the right on Lanvale to St. Paul Street, then turn right (south) & go about a block to the Boltbus stop.

If the cost was the same, you'd want to pick the Penn Station garage, which is out of the weather & a bit closer, but the lot on Lanvale should be fine, and is worth it if you can save $10

Thanks again-
Also, whats the best way to get up to Penn Station through the city from I-95 (I-395)? Calvert Street from Inner Harbor?
Thanks-

No problem - from I-395 the best way is to turn right at the first light you hit off of the highway - Conway St - then take a left on Charles St. Follow Charles about 15 to 20 blocks until you pass Penn Station, then the next light is Lanvale. Turn right, and the parking lot should be on your right.
