Most hotels around Detroit Metro have Park & Fly packages starting at/about $75.00 for a one night stay and seven parking days. You can also visit your local AAA and get one of their tourbooks that has a seperate section on airport hotels.

ParkSleepFly.com will have all the information you need to find hotels that offer this option. We often do this flying out of Detroit Metro, especially if our flight leaves early in the morning. I just pick the cheapest one - doesn't matter just for the one night. Be sure to ask about all the discounts, i.e. AAA, Sam's Club, etc. before agreeing to a price.

I just wanted to add that parking at the aiport is very reasonable. $5 in the designated lots near the Berry and Smith terminals. There is an absolute glut of parking at DTW. see: http://www.metroairport.com/Summer_P...le_release.htm

If you have access to the Detroit Free Press/News, there are always Park and Fly packages advertised in the Sunday travel section. All the hotels have them, including the 4-star Westin that's right in the Northwest World Gateway terminal.

The Hilton Suites by the airport offers a Park and Fly package. Check it out!
