Hi. I will be visiting the Black Hills area the end of May. I thought it would be fun to do one of these mining tours & pan for gold. Any suggestions on which ones? Maybe the Broken Boot?
Also, should we stop in Lead to see the Black Hills Mining Museum on our way to Deadwood? Is it worth a detour?
Thanx!!

Yes the museum is worth a stop.
If they're still giving mine tours, take one.
Don't know if they're still panning for gold.
