Our family of four will be traveling to Jackson at the end of June. I think I've narrowed down the hotel choices to Painted Buffalo Inn or Parkway Inn. We wanted an indoor pool. Does anyone have a recommendation either way?

We stayed at the Painted Buffalo in last summer and were satisfied. The pool is okay, nothing great....but it does provide for a refreshing late-afternoon break in the warm weather.
The hotel's location is very convenient. We could easily walk to the town center. And there are services right in the area--gas station, minimarts, internet cafe, etc.
If you're a AAA member, ask for a discount.

We also stayed at the Painted Buffalo last August and were happy enough with the Hotel. Rooms were clean and the pool was nice. The only thing is that there isnt alot of parking spaces and one night we had to park on the street in back of hotel.

I've stayed at the Parkway Inn. I liked it because it was off the main highway and quiet. Some hotels are on the main highway or too close and are noisy.

Thanks for your help. We ended up booking with Parkway Inn. It looked like a nicer place and after reading reviews on placestostay.com and tripadvisor.com, there seemed to be complaints about highway noise at Painted Buffalo Inn. Thanks again.
