my brother is returning to the States after 4 yrs in Germany and will be in Fort Polk, LA. They are used to the European resorts with lots of activities for kids. Is there anything comprable in Ozark area of Arkansas?

We just got back from the Big Cedar Lodge in Ridgedale, Missouri. My kids loved it. Lots of activities - swimming, lazy river, paddle boats, canoes, fishing, dive-in movie night, root beer float night. You can also rent boats or wave runners. It was totally an over indulgent vacation for my kids, but we all had a good time. The little one even liked it better than Hawaii. Who would have guessed?! It is a hop, skip & a throw from N. Arkansas. This may not be the area of Arkansas you are considering, but I thought I would recommend it anyway.
My brother also spent a few years in Germany. I hope you had a chance to visit him over there and that he will be happy at Fort Polk.
Sorry, I forgot to post the website.
