Our House Has no Hot Tub - Where to Soak in Crested Butte

Heading to meet up with Family in Crested Butte for a first time family ski trip. The house was rented by my mom and I maybe promised kids and husband a hot tub and well appears there is none!!! Any tips on options in Crested Butte for swimming/hot tub if it's not part of your lodging. I see some spas... but not sure what else.

I know there are a couple of spas w/ pools/hot tubs . . . but how old are your kids? I can't see a day spa allowing children to use their pool/hot tub for recreation.

yep... My kids are 15,12 and 8....
But at least I need to find a place for my husband to soak.
I recall from years ago in Squaw Valley there were nice places where you could go swim for the day for a fee.

The problem is that Crested Butte is kind of off the beaten path. Nothing else around Crested Butte. Check to see if there is a local recreation center. They almost always have hot tubs. If it is that important why was the question not asked prior to renting?

I've only been there once so I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think there is a parks/rec public pool/hot tub complex.

Well fmpden, like I said, my mom rented the place. Guess it's not that important to her... and in my mind I just assumed it would... because my image of skiing always includes hot tubs.

Call the Club at Crested Butte. They have a pool and a hot tub and I think you can buy a daypass. The club is actually the country club and golf course and it's off Brush Creek road just out of downtown.

I think there used to be a hotel/ gym across from Slogars. They may have a hot tub you can use. I don't know what's there now though.
