There are quite a few, but fodors.com seems to be more active than most, and offers posters who give actual good advice. Frommers.com has a well-laid-out BB, but it's relatively inactive and filled with junk postings.

Virtual Tourist, and Trip Advisor, as well. they don't seem to be quite as user friendly as fodors. also a lot more diffuse - you would post a British Columbia question in the BC forum, which means you have to make an affirmative choice to go into the section, versus just going to Canada, as in here (ditto Paris, etc etc).
but, if you really wanna know the nitty gritty, you can post ALL over.
frommers is a great site, but you can wait forever for an answer. (they also break things wayyy down).
I think the fodors format, with whole-continent sections, makes things a lot more lively!
other ones have other strengths though. I just recently found VT and LOVE it. you can be so creative! it lets you post pictures...
