Lynn: I don't know where you are from, but you need to know it's been oppresively hot this year - high humidity and temps in the mide-90's. You can still have fun, but pace yourself. Try to get to the parks early. Take a break in the afternoon - go back to your hotel and swim or nap. The parks are great at night - cooler, less crowded, and beautiful. Park recommendations? I like Epcot - don't miss "Honey, I shrunk the audience" or the laser light show at closing. Sea World is a good choice - less frantic than the Disney ones, with polar bears and lots of water shows where you can get wet if you need to cool off! If you are into rides, try Universal or Magic Kingdom. Have fun!

For night life try Church Street Station- you can't miss it right off of I-4. Restaraunts, clubs, shopping... A great area to visit is Winter Haven, it's a suburb about 5 minutes from downtown- charming part of town with great shopping and eating. Try Park Plaza Gardens. Another good place to try is Houston's. If you enjoy shopping, International Drive has one of the largest outlet centers- every vendor you can imagine. Good luck and have fun!

If you plan on going to the Magic Kingdom, arrive as soon as the park opens. After so many people get in the park, they close it and won't let anyone else in. Also, if you stay in one of the Disney hotels they open the park several hours earlier for you. Splash Mountain is worth the wait, but Alien Encounter might be too scary for small children or people who don't like dark confined spaces.
