Oregon Willamette Valley Wine Tasting Tours

We will be staying in McMinnville at the Hotel Oregon the first week in August. We want to visit as many vineyards as possible in 2 days and would like to sign up with a tour group so that we can park the car and not worry about driving. Does anyone have experience a a wine tour company in that area that they would recommend?

Thanks, Robin

We live in the area so have not done any tour groups. But there is one that I would recommend based on talking to his customers as well as the owner. www.anoseforwine.com is his website. I met him a while back at a winery when he came in with his group. He likes to find the hidden gems and works his itinerary around what the customer likes. His group comes here every year to tour and they said he is excellent.

Mms and I are sorta neighbors, so I've not been tasting with a tour group here either. (well, there was that time a bunch of us hired a limo several years back, but that's a different thread) But, you might also try Grape Escapes: http://www.grapeescapetours.com/Grap...s/Welcome.html. Heard good things, but don't know much about them. This page might be useful too: http://www.winesnw.com/nwiltour.html.

Don't know if we'll see the ***k-boom***, Kal. I read somewhere else that she prefers drinking homemade stuff, nowadays.

Thanks for the information regarding the two tour companies for wine tours. I will check into them and most likely sign up with one for the day.

Don't quite understand -tick --tick --tick. I guess it is some kind of inside joke.

Thanks again, Robin
