Open Up and Say "Spa"

We're looking for a destination spa in Connecticut for a "girls'" overnight (celebrating 40th birthdays). I've read reviews of some, and they are all over the place--very mixed, and it's hard to tell whether some are written by those impossible-to-please types. Any suggestions? Norwich? Mohegan Sun? Water's Edge? Thanks for your input!
