Ontario CA Airport to Palm Springs -Restaurants?

Hi,
Flying in to Ontario CA and driving to Palm Springs.
Any good restaurants en route? Breakfast and / or lunch.

Thank you.
MJ

The Mission Inn in Riverside is on your way. Good eats and interesting architecture.

The Mission Inn is a several miles side trip off the I-10 via the 215 and 91 Fwys, but a really cool place.

Other than maybe In-n-Out Burger, I'd wait till you get to the desert.

If In-n-Out, Double-Double with grilled onions, animal style; fries, chocolate shake. Good to go.

If I were driving from Ontario Airport to Palm Springs I would take the 60.
The Mission Inn is less than a quarter mile off the freeway.

I , being the good son that I am, have visited my mother in Banning every week or so for the last twenty-five years from my home in Orange County.
I drive those routes on a VERY regular basis, on various days of the week and at different hours. For the sake of variety I change things up and use different freeways from time to time.
After exiting Ontario airport to the east you turn right on Haven and pass four stoplights before entering the eastbound 60. After driving through beautiful Downtown Riverside ( where I would enjoy many of the fine dining experiences at The Mission Inn) I would proceed through Moreno Valley and the lovely Jack Rabbit Pass and join Interstate 10 in Beaumont.
That's why (especially if I were dining at The Mission Inn) I would take the 60.

The Ontario Airport is between the 10 and the 60 and they both intersect after Moreno Valley so there is no reason not to take the 60 if going to the Mission Inn. I also would recommend the Mission Inn.

Cali, I wasn't questioning taking the 60 if going to the Mission Inn, I was questioning taking the 60 instead of the 10 from Ontario Airport to Palm Springs.

Most people would not regard the 60 as the most expedient route from Ontario to PS, but if the purpose is to see the Mission Inn then I guess it makes sense. If you have the extra time, it's worth seeing.
