For all of you who have stayed overnight in Oahu to see Pearl Harbor, can you recommend a reasonably-priced hotel?

Princess Kailuani (?) is where we've stayed. Its a Sheraton - a block from the beach, nice, reasonable (around $120/nt)depending on when you are going.

Try calling a Hawaiian travel agency to see about a package deal with inter-island flight, rental car and hotel for one night. I did that a few years ago and it was a great deal. I got the recommendation for the travel agency I used on here but it's been too long and I don't have a clue who it was now.

If you have no objections to using Priceline, the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani often comes up if you bid around $60 for a 3 star in the Waikiki South zone, as does the Radisson Prince Kuhio. Both are centrally located and fine for a one night stay.

I priceline'd and got the Sheraton Princess K. Great deal! I handed over my SPG card at check-in and got upgraded to a partial ocean-view.
