once in a lifetime
Hi there , we are planning a trip to all 49 states to visit a many small towns as we can meet the people and have an experience of a life time we have no time table to do it it can be 6 months or 2 years, will try to avoid the very large cities and go to the obscure small places most people don't go. any advice websites, comments, do`s and don'ts, ect ect will pull a 32 to 36 ft rv and a small car behind , me and my wife will like to hook up with maybe another rver who will like to do the same, the trip is in planning to start somewhere between march 2018 to may 2018,
then is off to retire in Costa Rica ( do the same there! )
thanks all
Best Regards The Picados

A guy in Massachussetts started a fundraiser in which he traveled to every town to drink a beer. His blog got hits. It could be an interesting way to use this endeavor for attention of philanthropic reasons. I think it was for children's cancer if I recall properly. From his research proprietors reached out to welcome him to visit and belly up to the bar.

Being honest, you lost me here. If you are excluding large cities because you've already explored them thoroughly, then I'm wrong. But I suspect you think that the Real America lies in small towns and not in large cities, and if that's the case, you're wrong. Excluding population centers makes no sense to me--OK, except that that RV will be a PITA to deal with!--so I won't be able to comment on your trip.
No great loss--plenty of others will chime in eventually. Good luck.

Nobody can call the Picados stay at home folks. Best of luck. Now in Boston we've lived and been in many a small town in the Middle West and elsewhere. This includes family vacations with tent, then several fold downs, then several trailers (yours a bit bigger). Assume you will keep a diary and take photos for your own enjoyment. .

Thank you so much for your input, I will make a Facebook page and open a tweeter account to log hopefully every day what I see , and yes there will be plenty of photos comments, and if I have lots of time I will even recommend a place , restaurant or museum ect ect that we feel we had a good experience, since we don't have a timetable for this we may stay at a town more than we think, some charity work may be also included for the more needy, did I leave out a state? I mean continues United States may include a bit of Canada but not sure about an having to go through customs immigration is worth the hassle or just go in the car will pull? anyway that's to all and please keek commenting I read all.
