Omaha May 3

I'm trying to find a hotel in Omaha or Council Bluffs on Saturday, May 3 and everything is booked. Anyone know what is going on in town that weekend?

Berkshire Hathaway weekend takes up most of the hotel rooms in Omaha. The only hotel still available that I would recommend to anyone is the Regency Lodge, but they are charging a high rate by Omaha standards for the date in question.

Hampton Inns in Council Bluffs and west Omaha both claim to have rooms and as Mrnuke pointed out about the other one they are on the high side sorry.

I ran into a similar situation there and it was the college world series. There were only hotels near the airport available. We booked one and were very satisfied. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable...nothing luxurious, but fit our needs!
