Hello
My husband and I would like to spend our anniversary this year travelling to the Olympic National Park. We live just east of Vancouver and plan on driving down on Friday, and staying until the Sunday. We love hot springs, hiking, the outdoors and wine. I am thinking we should stay at the Lake Quinault Lodge or somewhere in that area, thoughts? Anyone visited the wineries around this area or the hot springs? What do you think about must see places while we are there?
Thank you for the input!
Tiffany

I visited a couple of wineries in the Port Angeles, Sequim area. They were OK, nothing great. Much better in Yakaima Valley or Woodinville. Hurricane Ridge and Cresent Lake are also with visits.
Thanks Boom_Boom! Anyone else have any input?
Cheers
Tiffany
I believe it would be better to stay at Lake Crescent or in Port Angeles because those places are closer to more places of interest, restaurants, etc.
This place also might suit you: http://www.olympicnationalparks.com/accommodations/sol-duc-hot-springs-resort.aspx
In case you don't have it, here is information about Olympic Peninsula wineries: http://www.olympicpeninsulawineries.org/
It would be wise to make a reservation on the Coupeville ferry: http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/vesselwatch/TerminalDetail.aspx?terminalid=11
