Jim,
Phillips is wonderful (and expensive), especially the crab cakes!! It is a nicer, family-oriented restaurant. I think there are actually 2 of them in Ocean City, one closer to the Boardwalk, and one closer to the Delware border (I think the Deleware one is a little nicer...).

Hi Jim - Fagers Island is one of the nicest places in Ocean City. Excellent food and service in an upscale, but relaxed, atmosphere. Prices are on the higher end, but worth it. The restaurant is part of the resort complex. Definitely a must. I belive they have a web site, but I don't know what the address is. Check it out and have fun!

Hi, we go to Ocean City almost every summer for vacation, we have found the Ocean City visitor guide to be very helpful, they now have a web site at
www.vgnet.com also the hotel we always stay at supplies us with a menu guide to area restaurants, you might want to ask if your hotel has one. I have heard alot of good things about Phillips Crab House but have never been there, I think we will try out this year. Have a great time!!!

we live in close proximity to oc. I
would sugget nantucket in fenwick island
which is neighboring oc. reflections in
the holiday inn on 62nd street is also
very good. it is very quiet and intimate. i also like the galaxy. it
is a bistro. not intimate. but the food
is a little difference than anythine else on the beach. the hobbit is also
very good. if you decide that you want
something not quiet and intimate, but
truly a lot of fun is seacrets. it is
a jamaican theme, outdoor, take your
bathing suit and people watch. contact
me by e-mail if you want any further
info. you may want to try rehobeth. it
is a little more low key than ocean city. here is the victorian inn which
is supposed to be very nice. there are
a lot of nice restaurants in rehobeth.
approximately 30 minutes from oc.

We always liked the Hobbit, and visited Secrets last year for the first time. It is a lot of fun for adults. Phillips is big, noisy, and fries just about everything -- but somehow is a must for many at O.C. Consider is a pretty much boardwalk kind of town -- I find it hard to resist Boardwalk Fries with cheese, and boy, is that far from my usual!

Try Tutti Gusti - it's relatively new to the Ocean City scene, and my husband and I ate there last summer. I believe it closes during winter. It's intimate, dim, romantic, and the food is outstanding. There really aren't many fine dining restaurants to choose from in O.C., but definitely try this one. It gets really busy during the summer, so you might need reservations. Enjoy!
