Ocean City -where to park for 1 day visit

We will be staying in Berlin - 7 miles away. We want to visit OC for one day - a Saturday. Where can we park? I s there a shuttle? Where can we get info about a shuttle? Thanks.

I assume you're talking about OC in NJ? There are minicipal lots in a number of places, most within a block or less of the boardwalk. Last year I think it was $8-10.

Hi

When you said Berlin I assumed you were talking of Ocean City Md. I don't know of any shuttles and Saturday can be difficult cause everyone goes to the beach on the weekend. Without knowing the month you're planning on visiting I can only suggest that you try Parking at the Outlets on lower Rt 50, near Golf Road. You could probably find a bus or a taxi to drive you over the bridge and into the boardwalk area of Ocean City.

There are parking lots (and metered parking - but you need LOTS of quarters and have to replenish every 2-3 hrs) down near the amusement center. If you have your parking ticket stamped by a vendor (you have to buy something or have lunch at the main restaurant, I forget its name - the restaurant closest to the end of the boardwalk - big one) you get free or discount parking. The parking lot is a 3 level deck. The food at the restaurant is good and the view of the ocean is nice (I think it might be Harrison's restaurant). You're right on the beach and you can enjoy the surf.

There is a shuttle, in season, that runs from a parking lot just off Rte 50, on the left just after the bridge when you leave OC. It's in the gfeneral area when the Marina is, and Shantytown, I believe it's called.

You'll see signs. I believe it only runs Memorial Day/Labor Day.
