Oahu: Roy's or BluWater Grill?

I'm helping a friend plan a wedding reception and she's down to Roy's Hawaii Kai or the BluWater Grill. Actaully the planner is pushing towards the BluWater.
Does anyone have dining experience at either of these places? I've checked Chowhound and the posts are quite old.
What would you recommend?

How many people are expected at the reception? For a medium party, there is a private room at Roy's, and the food and service are better there.

I think she's planning on 50-60 people. We're all flying out from Seattle and California. It's hard when we have no first hand knowledge.
Thank you!

You might also post and read on the Oahu forum over at Trip Advisor (not the reviews section but the forum similar to this one).

I think the views are better at Bluewater Grill. Roy's has no view, just excellent food and really great service. Bluewater may have a better ambiance, and for your reception and size of group, it might be more practical.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll look into tripadvisor.com. I didn't know they had a forum as well.
And good to know about view / ambiance, it really does make a difference.
