Aug. 16-18. One of us cannot travel in the early mornings (illness). No car. Peter Pan leaves at 7A and Amtrak at 8:30AM, which is not doable for us. The evening bus and train arrive too late. Is there another way--maybe to a nearby town and then a local bus? Megabus has a 9:20AM to Storrs, CT and then.....?? It still very early but I can't think of an alternative. Am thinking of giving up (weekend invitation by a a friend).
Return travel looks to be no problem. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

Look for Amtrak or bus to New London, CT. Then taxi to Mystic or have your friend pick you up in New London. The NL train station is only 15 minutes from Mystic and there are many more options for trains.
Oh, thank you! There are many more options. Very grateful to you!
