ING the major sponser has donated One Millon dollars.
Victoria Secret donated their generators to help those without power.
Seems that somthing good will come of the cacelation.
BTW, there is a forecast for a NorEaster to hit yeh same areas on Wednesday next week.
I think the cancellation was, without question, the right thing to do. I was surprised it took so long for the Mayor to finally acknowledge the obvious.
The Tues/Wed storm is to be not in the same class as Sandy but certainly won't be making life any easier for those involved.
Took him long enough, would have been so hard for anyone to run through Staten Island eating granola bars and muffins and drinking gatorade while people around them are without power and have no food left.
