NYC Girls Weekend in July

I'm sure there are topics on this, but thought I'd throw it out there. I am going with two girlfriends to NYC. We will be seeing a show on Saturday night, but was looking for some good ideas. If it is sweltering out, we obviously won't want to be trekking all over the City. Basically, one of the girls has just gone through a bad time and we are taking her there as she has never really gone overnight to the City. We will train in and are staying at the Westin. Any ideas of some fun, yet relaxing things to do? Any good day spa's you can recommend for an option? I was trying to pick a good Italian place for dinner prior to the show and had some options, but would look at any options you have. Price is not an option, but I would rather go to a place that has great food and atmosphere, than pay for something in name that you get a piece of lettuce for a salad. LOL. We will arrive late morning/early afternoon and stay through to Sunday going back to CT late afternoon.

Also, I know one of the girls is looking to get a good watch...where is best place to go in jewelry district? Thanks!
