NY Botanic Gardens - Manolo Valdes exhibit

Jump to last reply

There's a new outdoor sculpture exhibit at the NYBG in the Bronx. If you remember the Henry Moore exhibit, this is set up the same way except the sculptures are by Spanish artist Manolo Valdes. The seven sculptures are heads of women elaborately decorated and influenced by nature. The outdoor settings are stunning and you can walk right up and touch each work of art. This runs through May and will be visually different depending upon the season.

If you go, Monet is still on (although fading a bit) until Oct 21 and the waterlilies are beautiful.

A great way to spend a beautiful day!
