Nova Scotia through ME, NH, and VT

Hello...plan change since a couple years ago. Hopefully, we will get to make it this time. We are planning on staying a week July 14 on and going from Nova Scotia through Me, Nh, and Vt. This is the itinerary I have but it seems we are driving so much. I want to get an idea of the states and see as much of the views that we can. Need to know in these areas if we are missing anything and if we should delete anything. We got our skeleton itinerary from here but have altered it a bit. Your information on here is priceless and I so appreciate your help.
