Would North Pole village near Lake Placid, NY be interesting place for 12 yaer olds or this place is for small kids only? We will be in Lake Placid for Dec 22-25 with 8, 10 and two 12 year old kids.

It's Santa's Workshop in North Pole, NY near Wilmington. 11 miles from Lake Placid. Santa's Workshop is usually open only in the summer. This year it is open for a few special weekends until December 22nd. 12/22 is the last day of its operation and opens only between 4:30 PM and 7:30 PM
Well - I know 12 year olds differ in maturity - gender, area in which they live, life experiences etc - but I can;t imagine ANY 12 year old who would be interested in this. I sounds like the upper limit wold be about 6 or 7.
My stepdaughters at 12 were interested only in boys, music, concerts - and my 12 year old nephew asked to go see Rent for his birthday. Now NYC 12 year olds may be a little older - but back in the day when I was 12 (almost 40 years ago and in the suburbs) it was the same - boys, parties, movies - etc - Santa was far in the past.
