Non-traditional (for us) lodging in Kansas

We will be crossing Kansas from Denver to Kansas City along Rt 70 during the last week in September 2009. We are not campers and will have been in motels for the previous 4 weeks. Does anyone know of a B&B or Boarding House type of lodging along this route? We've never stayed at either. Any info, suggestions, or leads will be greatly appreciated.
