In a couple of weeks I have a business meeting that starts at 6:00 AM in Nitro, WV. Does anyone have any recommendations on decent places to stay that would be close by?
Thanks bunches for the help

Boston, my 2 hour food shopping spree to satiate my man's needs

Nitro is just about 12 miles from Charleston, which is where I would expect to find the better accommodations in that area.
There are the standard hotel chains (Sleep Inn, Comfort Inn, Motel 6) at Cross Lanes which is much closer.
I wouldn't go into Charleston for a hotel. You're going to find the same choices, further away and slightly more expensive.
But they have a Marriott, Hampton Inn, Embassy Suite, etc at Charleston. Better than Sleep Inn and Motel 6, I would hope.
I live in this area - I would go to Charleston for a hotel. Marriott or Embassy would be my top picks.
If you insist on staying closer to Nitro, I would pick the Sleep Inn in CrossLanes. Unless you are on a very tight budget, I would not stay at the other 2.
Hey, LvSun, is Diehl's (Deal's?) Putt-Putt still in existence? I visited someone in Hurricane about 33 years ago and never forgot the Putt-Putt's hot dogs!
Diehl's IS still around and serving great "home-made" food. Not sure about the Putt-Putt. The only one I know about is closer to South Charleston/Spring Hill.
