Nighttime stuff in Wine Country

Hi everyone...my husband and I will be in Sonoma for 3 nights and St. Helena for one night starting this Monday through Thursday....we have dinner reservations already at Terre one night and Martini House the other. I am 26 and my husband is 30...does anyone have recommendations for things to do at night? We don't mean raging clubs, etc...but, like live music, or a coffee/ice cream place..something simple and relaxing! Thank you!!

Co17,
After dinner at Martini House, we usually walk around St Helena before calling our ride back to Y'ville, "Taxi Cabernet" and have passed some clubs on the main drag where they were playing some decent music.

One was right by the old hotel...maybe some of the other NV/SV locals can help yah out with actual names.

As for Sonoma, just had a very good lunch at Della Santina's this past Monday.

As for music, I'd just walk around all the places in the Town Sq area and keep my ears open.

We're thinking this year's T'giving Wine Country GTG in Sonoma????:-?

Hey Kal!
Thank you so much for your response...we leave tomorrow to drive up the coast (we live in San Diego) and I realized that we didn't have anything planned past some wineries and hiking =0!
Thank you very very much! Just a little place where we can listen to music would be fun!

In Sonoma and St Helena you can make your own music!

I seem to recall maybe music around The Sonoma Hotel, girl and fig?
Also, the bar by the old Sebastiani movie theater?

Once some of the other Sonoma/Napa regulars "come to" they'll assist.

Colo17-
( in my best Joe Pesci imitation
"Funny....like HA HA funny or "funny"...do I amuse youuuuuuu".

OK...so I'm not a Rich Little?

Some of the best discoveries we've made in NV, SV or anywhere we travel were made by just wondering around, being friendly and talking to locals, service people.
Drop by the visitor's center in Sonoma Town Sq. VERY helpful.

Oh..and be careful at Martini House, especially if you told them it's a "special occasion"
...they may put you "on display" with a fireplace seat. :-"
HINT: if your hubby is follically challenged like your truly, he better powder down!
We've sat there twice. Lotta fun, tho.
GREAT wine list...even tho they lost their original sommelier awhile back. So...take a taxi if you're inclined to tipple!
Great bar downstairs...can get crowded at times.

Faina2-

Ohhhhh.... the night time....is the right time....to BEEEEEEEEEE.....wit da one yah luuuuuuuuuuv....OHHHHH I SAID the night time IS the right time...to BEEEEEEE wit da one yah luvvvvvv

Man...is it too late to drive down to Della Santina's for some Nonna's Gnocchi?

Kal---"haha" funny and amusing...it's 11:30 and we're in the midst of packing...we didn't tell Martini House it was a special occasion, though I could have...my husband just got back from Iraq---so it's a special trip for us, should be great!
Thanks for ALL your help (and songs!)

Colorado 17 check out the Harmony Club at the gorgeous Ledson Hotel. We had a very nice dinner there and there is a piano player that plays beautiful music while he sings.

It would be a nice place to go for dessert and coffee and take in the beauty of the hotel. We did a short tour and the rooms are just amazing. Have fun! ***kim***
