Nice restaurant for anniversary lower cape

We'll be spending a week in N Truro next week and would like recommendations for a nice restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Seafood or eclectic American and a romantic surrounding would be great. We really like the Impudent Oyster in Chatham but aren't keen on the 45 min drive. Any suggestions for P-town or Wellfleet would be appreciated. Thanks!

JLBRN, that is so funny. I just posted today about a road trip we did in 1986 mostly through New England which included a stay in Chatham. I wouldn't have remembered except that I just saw it in my journal -- we ate at the Impudent Oyster on that trip and loved it, so it was funny suddenly seeing it mentioned here.

We must have similar tastes NeoPatrick because you've given me good restaurant advice in the past when I requested info on NYC dining(Roberto Passon

Try the Wicked Oyster in Wellfleet or the Martin house in Ptown.

Well, even tho it's a little far since it's for an anniversary yo;u might consider the outstanding Chillingsworth in Brewster.

I was also going to recommend Chillingsworth. Worth the drive, and one of the few allegedly "worth every penny for the experience" sort of places we've visited.
