Nice hotel / B&B in Tucson - January

We will be staying in Tucson for 6 nights in January from the 10th until the 16th.
We are spending 3 nights at the Omni and are looking for another hotel or B&B to stay at.
We would like something very special, modern and romantic.
We will be hiring a car so location does not really matter.
Thanks

The Inn on the Desert is very nice, years ago it was the place all the movie people stayed while filming movies in the desert. At that time it was in the middle of nowhere. The property covers an entire city block, and is surrounded by adobe walls. It is like a small village, with low rise accommodation, walkways between the various sections and a good restaurant.

Hacienda del Sol has recently added several new buildings of rooms. The resort is not modern though, an historic hacienda is the centerpiece. One of Tucson's best restaurants is there too, The Grill at Hacienda del Sol. Beautiful place.

Hacienda del Sol is very romantic. I would second that choice.

Some friend stayed at this B&B earlier this month and loved it. It is on the far east side, in a desert setting, so opposite side of town from the Omni.

Thanks everyone,
I will definitely check out all of your suggestions. It sounds like Hacienda del Sol is very popular . We are actually booked into the grill for one of the nights as the Concierge at the Omni recommended it. ( I didn't realise accommodation there too)
We are from Australia so not familiar with Tucson at all. (We have been to Phoenix and Sedona before though )

You can book a stay and dine package at Hacienda, which would be less expensive than booking just the room, then also eating at the Grill.
