Niagara Falls - Clifton Hill - Comfort vs. Quality Inn

Can anyone tell me the difference between the two?

They're located next to each other. Both have good Trip Advisor reviews.

Or is there *anything* that makes one better than the other? Pool?

Also traveling, four kids (8-17), in two rooms.

Any thoughts appreciated.
Thank you.

Have you checked out these websites:
comfortniagara.com
qualityniagara.com

Both have excellent maps of Niagara Falls and Clifton Hill. The Quality Inn is slightly closer to the Falls, so perhaps you could get a better view. Both hotels have pools. You may end up having to toss a coin

They are also part of the same hotel chain: Choice Hotels.

Thanks for the websites.
I've checked them and find both properties to be nearly identical.

Just wondered if anyone had first hand experience with one or the other.

For example, the Quality has a *dragon* slide in the outdoor pool.
Is this slide for little children only?

Any feedback appreciated.

Thanks for the reply amh4598, but I'd already done that before I posted here, which is one reason I DID post here.

And I contine checking tripadvisor in case new ones are printed.

Despite reading everything on line, there seems to be little difference, if any between the two.

But there has to be *some* difference, I would think.

Anyone?

I vote for Quality Inn because that is the only place I passed on my way to The Falls a few years back. Seems like it has adequate enough parking, its really not far from the falls and there are some little family run cafes immediately around it.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn last year. It was okay but the Quality Inn next door looked newer and nicer.

Thanks for the reply, Pat in Mich.

The main difference appears to be the free breakfast at the Comfort and the mini water slide at the Quality.

Guess I'll flip a coin!

By the way, I can't seem to find the listing for Niagara Falls in the Fodors Folders *Destinations* or *hotels*?

Am I somehow missing it, or is there such a category?

Seems odd.
