Hi... We'll be in Newport next weekend for the Christmas Festival..
I have one quick simple question... Is there a nice pub / restaurant with a pool table on the main street there, close to the festival, where we can grab a decent meal and the two men can play pool while us ladies can enjoy the festivities??

There are plenty of places downtown to grab a bite to eat. for a place with a pool table, there's Celtica on Longwharf next to the Mariott. The bar at the Harbor Hotel and Marina used to have a pool table, not sure if it still does. Upscale at 41 north they have a nice pool table in thei Library. Very nice place, not your usual "pool hall" type of place.
Further up Memorial Blvd just past the Bellevue Ave intersection is Jimmy's Saloon that has several pool tables, but i would eat somewhere else first.
