I'm looking for a place for a group to stay on a Friday and Saturday night in Newport, RI. There will be about 10 women (mostly in our 30's) for a bachelorette weekend in mid-May. My thought is that renting a house would be most economical, but maybe renting out a whole bed and breakfast would work too? It is a group of women who are fun and like to go out, but it won't be the cliche, debaucherous "bachelorette" party. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!!

Newport doesn't legally allow rentals for less than a month, I just did a quick search on Hotwire though for the weekend of 5/13 and 14, (not sure what your dates are) and you can get the Hyatt on Goat Island for $110 a night, (probably a little cheaper on Priceline) if you're looking for more standard accomidations. If you want the Inn/B&B route, try www.newportreservations.com and give them a call. They can give you all sorts of ideas....
Great, Thank you so much, I'll give them a call!
We did my bachelorette party at Inn on the Harbor, right next to Christies on Thames, they have suites that fit around 6 people, so you can get two suites for that many people. The location is in the thick of things and there is also a fridge/toaster and sink for cocktails and bagels and bonding in the am. Have a blast, I know I did! (We are in the same age group)
