Recently back from a night at the Yankee Peddler Inn. The brochure said " afternoon tea and pastries" ?we found "help yourself" coffee urns, paper cups, and one cookie on a tray. Brochure said "ample parking"- we were forced to park in a pay lot down the street. Brochure promised "period antiques and decor" we found morbid (scary) old paintings, a petrified (rock-hard) mattress, paper-thin walls and postage-stamp sized bathroom. Continental breakfast was toast-it -yourself bagels, cold cereal and store-bought muffins. Snotty staff topped it off. This too can be yours for just $ 250 a night!
