Newport Beach California brunch for Fathers Day

Can anyone suggest a good place for Fathers Day brunch in Newport Beach California? We would love to be near the water if possible as we are traveling from the land locked Mid West!

Newport Landing is a pretty place to watch the boats go in and out of Newport Bay. We usually go upstairs and sit on the bacony for lunch. Its worth going there even if not for brunch. The Cannery and Rusty Pelican are on the water, but on the bay side, not the beach side. Not a lot of restaurants on Newport Beach because of the homes and the boardwalk. Try the Ritz Carlton and Mondial hotels too. Just south of Laguna Beach is the Beachcomber at Crystal Cove. That is located on the sand. Not sure if they have brunch or not. Good luck!

You might try the Back Bay Bistro, which has a nice water view (bay, not ocean). I've been there for brunch with family and had a good experience.

The Rusty Pelican has a Sunday Brunch, As mentioned previously, it is on the bay, not the ocean. You will see the bay and lpts of yachts. If you are looking for a nice ocean view and don't mind driving a little further south, there is Las Brisas in Laguna Beach.

I agree on The Cannery. Might want to call and get reservations for the deck outside. So pretty.
