We are planning a tour to NYC for our community theatre group (N = 24-36 most probably).
Anyone have a recommendation on an agency/contact in NYC? Need someone to organize the group transportation to/from airport, city tour, and hotels...the rest we can do on our own.
Thanks.

Trip report Acadia and Bar Harbor (from July)

Well, Globus has some NYC city tours, and so does Exploritas (formerly Elderhostel). Don't know why you would need an organized tour of NYC, however; you can get plenty of advice right here on Fodor's about NY tourism. I'd start by asking questions here.
My short term suggestion is Eric Gordon of Beyond Times Square - I do guide work and meet and greet work for him. He is very good and in New York. ericg@btsq.com .
If you have a longer time frame - breakaway tours has been bringing regional theatre groups to New York for over 36 years - I've done guide work for them for6 or 7 years - They bring several groups in May and December so your community theatre group would meet patrons of other groups. The programs are wonderful - Call Barry! http://break-awaytours.com/regional.htm You can find me at my blog
