New York City Theater district dinner ideas

Jump to last reply

Hi~we are planning a long weekend in NYC in a few weeks. Last fall we ate at Americain and a great little hole in the wall Italian place near the theaters. We'll never remember the name but loved how cozy, dark, and authentic it was. (almost in a basement like all of the restaurants along the street) Would love suggestions for a NICE dinner after a show...Italian, seafood, french, or steaks...not stuffy or pretentious, but a nice meal at a place we'll rave about for years. Small and intimate/speakeasy is fine too.
Any suggestions?
