Paul Winter Consort at St John the Divine
There's a cd available from past Solstice Concerts-may be available at Borders-so you could decide. It's wonderful world music with lots of percussion and international players.

Hi there!
Just this past Sunday there was an article in the paper about Christmastime in NYC (and other big cities). I don't know for sure if St. Patrick's is doing anything, but The NY Philharmonic is presenting the Messiah on the 19th and 20th.
Here is a link to the article:http://www.sptimes.com/2003/11/23/Tr...__Christ.shtml
Here's the number for St. Patrick's cathedral. You can call them and see if they have anything going on. 212-753-2261

There are concerts galore all over the city during the holiday season.
Try the www.lincolncenter.com and www.carnegiehall.com for info on presentations at all of their halls.
I am involved in a concert at the Blue Heron on Dec 20th (123 E 24th St) as a benefit concert for the Blue Heron. We will be singing a nice holiday concert, about 20 singers and a sing-in at the end.
That week there are also carolers at the Bronx Zoo, (the 19th from 7-9pm) at the Cafe. If you didn't know the Bronx Zoo is lit up with at least 1 million lights and alot of the exhibits are open, it's another nice way to celebrate the season.
Most of the churches have concerts during the holiday season, so you might try the vocal network site and I will get that email address for all the smaller concerts listed there. Just remembered it it's www.van.com.
Hope this helps and if you want a ticket to the concert at Blue Heron, please let me know the audience is very small so we are hoping for a sell out.
