A group of ten or twelve want to rent a vacation home between December 28 and January 1. We live in DC, New York and Boston and are looking for a place somewhere between. We don't need to be close to skiing. Any suggestions or leads would be appreciated.

My granddaughter and new husband went to the Poconos, in July, for their honeymoon. They returned thoroghly disgusted with the place. They said they would have enjoyed Buggerholler, Arkansas more. Bad rooms, bad food and not customer friendly.
My husband and I just returned a few weeks ago from Bushkill, PA. We had a wonderful time. We stayed at Tree Tops Resort/Fernwood Hotel. We liked it so much we bought a timeshare there. It is great place to stay. We had a townhouse which consisted of three floors. It sleeps six. But they also have flex units wherein it sleeps up to ten people comfortably. It is two units in one. It consists of three floors also. They have skiing there and a lot of snow sports.
