New year's eve with kids

Help!, I need advise on where I can go to see the fireworks or any good New Year's celebration (party) that is kids friendly. This is my first New Year in Las Vegas and we are staying at MGM Grand Hotel. (Dec. 30th to Jan 1st) Any info. will be very much appreciated. Thank You.

This will probably sound stupid, but one of the best places to see the fireworks is from the top of the parking garage at the airport. I don't know if this is what you mean, but at least you won't be run over by drunks. Get there early if you decide to go. There will be lots of locals up there!

How about on TV from your hotel room? I wouldn't be dragging my kids around at midnight in Las Vegas of all places.

Ces wanted advice. That is my opinion. Obviously, there aren't many other options. Maybe I could have said how about Blue Man Group or "O" or dinner at Le Cirque - I know I enjoyed that. How old are these "kids" anyhow?

Blue Man Group, Cirque de Soleiel, Seigfried and Roy, (the kids will like them even if you don't) The Rio Hotel Masquerade in the Sky- every afternoon and night starting at 4:00pm.The Ceasars Forum show..At midnight- Fireworks are somewhere right along the strip, best bet is stay in or near your hotel and watch from there, lots of drunks and rowdies out-as in all cities at that time-If they are old enough to enjoy this, they will probably remember it for a long time-when they were treated like grown-ups and got to stay up late, and see something that you don't see in every town in America Happy New Year Ces!
